As part of a major home remodel project a master bathroom was a necessity for these homeowners. This spectacular 166 sq.ft.bathroom includes a 6’ Jacuzzi whirlpool tub as a focal point as you enter past the lighted under mount glass sinks on the left. On the right side you pass a separate room with a built in linen closet and one-piece water closet. Beyond this you come to the spacious walk-in shower and finally the whirlpool tub. The custom oak cabinetry and custom casings are stained a rich burnt cherry finish which compliments the natural stone tiles and granite used in this room. Amazon star granite was used for the vanity tops. The tub surround and shower has a 12” natural shell stone tile with a shell stone shower bench to match. The floor is a tumbled stone tile with an accent tile as a border. The accent tile was continued on the face of the tub surround. All the faucets are a Roman style with a satin nickel finish. Recessed lights were installed in the ceilings and 3 wall scones were installed on the mirrors over the vanity.

Almost a year was spent on the design of the project with every detail addressed. Even though there wasn’t any problems with design we did have some with products. Delay in the tile delivery held up by the dock strike in San Francisco made it difficult to keep the bathroom on schedule but was worth the wait. With the help of the architect, craftsmen and the great attitudes of the homeowners this was truly a wonderful project to be a part of.
